This product is a crystalline type II ammonium polyphosphate with high polymerization degree (N>1000) and is almost insoluble in water. It has excellent characteristics such as high efficiency flame retardant, environmental friendliness, less added amount and little influence on mechanical properties.
The ammonium polyphosphate has a phosphorus content of up to 30% to 32% and a nitrogen content of 14% to 16%. The most prominent feature of this type of flame retardant is that the amount of smoke produced during combustion is extremely low and does not produce hydrogen halide. Because ammonium polyphosphate has good thermal stability, it can replace ammonium phosphate.
