Tianeptine Anti-depressant Raw Powder Tianeptine Sulfate CAS1224690-84-9
Tianeptine Sulfate (Sulphate) or Tianeptine Hemisulfate Monohydrate is modern pseudo-analogue of the famous Tianeptine Sodium. Tianeptine Sulphate, also known as Tianeptine Hemisulfate Monohydrate, is a Tricyclic Anti-depressant (TCA) and as this might suggest, its predominant use is for the treatment of depression. With that said, Tianeptine is also used to treat anxiety disorders, asthma and even irritable bowel syndrome.
Tianeptine Sulfate is absorbed by the body at a slower rate, meaning it takes longer to reach peak effect - extending it's duration of action.
Tianeptine Sulfate is excreted much more slowly than Tianeptine Sodium, meaning it remains active within the body for a longer duration.
One of the main downsides to Tianepine Sodium is its ability to clump after exposure to normal conditions.
Tianeptine Sulfate does not absorb moisture from the air, and remains as a powder - making it much easier to work with.
Tianeptine Sodium is not stable in atmospheric moisture, and is very light sensitive, degrading quickly when exposed. Tianeptine Sulfate is much more stable, with much less light degradation.
The taste of Tianeptine Sodium has been described as "bitter" and reportedly "tastes like death".
Tianeptins Sulfate, on the other hand, has very little taste at all.
Tianeptine Sulfate is VASTLY SUPERIOR to Tianeptine Sodium:
Why Tianeptine Sulphate?
If you’re fairly knowledgeable on the topic then by now you’re probably wondering what’s so special about Tianeptine Sulphate, after all Tianeptine Sodium works in a very similar manner when targeting many of the same ailments.
Well, Tianeptine Sulphate is superior for three fundamental reasons
Firstly, Tianeptine Sodium is notoriously unstable, reacting to both atmospheric moisture and light. Tianeptine sulphate on the other hand is non-hygroscopic, meaning that it is doesn’t absorb the water from the air, and doesn’t clump.
Secondly, Tianeptine sodium is not soluble, which wouldn’t be so bad if not for the fact that it tastes awful and when using it you may have to dose up to three times per day. Tianeptine sulphate on the other hand is soluble, meaning that you can simply mix it with water for a quick and easy drink.
Thirdly, and most importantly, Tianeptine Sodium is only effective for a relatively short duration, meaning that it has to be frequently dosed, sometimes up to three or four times a day according to anecdotal reviews. From a medical perspective this can lead to a decreased adherence to dosing regimen and reduced effectiveness as a result. Tianeptine Sulphate, however, is absorbed by the body at a much slower rate, taking longer to reach its peak effect and extending its duration within the body, meaning that less frequent dosing is required; effectively solving one of the main problems of the Sodium form.
It is this last point that forms on of the main claims in US Patent 8198268, which states that “a controlled release pharmaceutical composition of Tianeptine should enable better command over the release profile and consequently, a less demanding dosing regimen.”
I have been using the new Tianeptine Sulfate for five days now, and it just blows away Tianeptine Sodium. The timed release effect works perfectly - a single dose lasts at least six hours, if not ten. There are no highs and lows in mood. There's no strong euphoria, and more importantly, there's no crash either.
I have been using tianeptine as my primary antidepressant since last June. For several months, I've been taking about 100 mg a day. The need to redose every 2-3 hours has been frustrating and impractical, so the ability to go for most of the day on one dose makes tianeptine so much more valuable. I find that a single 100 mg dose of tianeptine sulfate kicks in within 15 minutes, hits peak effect from 1-3 hours in, and hangs on for many more hours. It might be able to last all day, but I find myself taking a booster of tianeptine sodium in the evening, just out of habit.
Since the changes in blood concentration of tianeptine sulfate are more gradual, it is clearly much less addictive than the sodium form. (The faster a drug kicks in, and the steeper the spike in dopamine, the more addictive it is.) If and when I need to stop taking tianeptine, the sulfate form will make a taper much easier.
This stuff is awesome. For me, tianeptine sodium was inconsistent and coming off of it was like a cliff - I knew the second it was wearing off and I was right back to feeling "bleh". With the sulfate it all feels like one very smooth glide. I actually haven't been bothering to re-dose throughout the day because once the effects are wearing off I don't even notice and I continue feeling pretty good for a good ten hours or so.
Tianeptine sulfate is so great.
I've never tried tianeptine before, but I bought the sulfate version to try out. I'm meant to be on 75mg of zoloft but I only take 50mg because 75 causes migraines. I am continously depressed, the zoloft helped my panic disorder and ocd but if anything made my depression worse. Everyday is just mood swings and wishing I could die.
But, today for the first time I took 40mg tianeptine sulfate with my zoloft. It's been about 6 hours since and I feel great, finally normal, happy and able to enjoy my girlfriends company instead of wanting her to leave me alone. I dunno if this will disappear in time but it is just so great to be happy for once.
Tianeptine is great, I first got the sodium and then switched to sulfate. With the sulfate I now dose around 60mg in the morning and another 40mg 4 hours later - that way I get a solid 16 hours with less highs and lows out of it. (Caution advised though, this dose is considered to be higher than the recommended dosage, although imo not recreational yet).
I'm definitely more "present" on Tianeptine, less trapped in my own head. I think in that sense it also helps me have better times with my girlfriend like you said. Some of the racetams and SEMAX give me the feeling of just wanting to isolate and go work or learn everything there is on the internet about some topic that just piqued my interest. With tianeptine I'm more flexible and can adapt to different situations more easily.
There's just one downside to it: it makes me sleepy as hell, and I can barely counter the tiredness with caffeine. I'm now up to 600mg caffeine a day. I don't really want caffeine as part of my daily stack but since I don't have modafinil on hand, it seems to be the best option right now.
Tianeptine Sulfate Dosage:
There is some consensus that a reasonable tianeptine dosage for its sulfate form is 25 mg or 2x the tianeptine dosage for its sodium form. The standard tianeptine dosage for its sulfate form is 25mg in contrast to 12.5 mg for tianeptine dosage for its sodium form.Remember the absorption, allocation, and metabolism of tianeptine sulphate is not well-characterized. The half-life of tianeptine sulfate is also twice as long as tianeptine sodium, lasting up to 6 hours. Tianeptine sulfate also lacks the notable harsh crash that is typically associated with tianeptine sodium. So the 25mg of tianeptine dosage for its sulphate form is based on anecdotal reports from users, not on rigid evidence. Some people have used higher tianeptine dosage for its sulphate form without obvious side effect, but such practice should not be taken to be safe.
